RCG Hosts Annual Fitness Run and Walk
The Robins Chiefs Group recently held its 7th annual 5 kilometer run and 2nd annual 1 mile walk during Robins AFB's May Fitness Month. The run was conducted over a noncertified course with both activities beginning near the Robins
Fitness Center.
Jeff Farmer finished the run as the overall winner with a time of 21 minutes, 5.02 seconds. Ben Wilton finished second at 21:51.99. Leading the women runners was Raquel Dufrene, 22:07.14, followed by Holly Fredricks, 22:12.
The purpose of run/walk was to raise money to fund activities the chiefs group supports: the RCG's Enlisted
Scholarship Program, base-wide quarterly and annual awards programs, enlisted-related seminars, Community College of the Air Force graduation activities, Airman and Family Readiness Center programs, as well as activities in the local community.
Event sponsors included Folkerts Heating & Air, Hamburg Consulting, MacAulay-Brown, Road ID, Steak 'n' Shake, Graphic Arts 'n' Ads, DoubleDecker.com, and DeCA vendors.

Top race finishers, from left to right, Wilton, Dufrene, Farmer and Fredricks.

RCG Celebrates 50th Anniversary of Chief Master Sergeants
On December 7, 2009 110 Chief Master Sergeants and others celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Chief Master Sergeant rank. The event was held at the Robins Base Restaurant and those attending were treated to fun, fellowship and fine food. No one was disappointed! Our most senior Chief in attendance was Chief Master Sergeant Ambry Green (DOR 1967). For photos of the merriment, check out our online photo album.
